"I remember leaving a toxic job, and when I went to my next employer, I said, “Wait… people are actually nice to each other? On purpose?”" This is exactly what happened to me before becoming an online entrepreneur. I actually got laid off because my employer in 2018 suspected my first pregnancy. The hustle and grind culture at that company was big. I then got hired for a remote job with a marketing agency and the organizational culture was completely different. The team was nice, the culture was strong. It really set the tone for the culture I would like to see emerge in the team I'm building for my business.

The "say/do" paradox trips up almost every company I've worked at and worked in.

Yeah, has been a struggle in almost every work environment I've been in also.
