I’m coming up on three years since I pivoted to a new career. I quit my executive role at a tech company on January 15, 2021.

I remember feeling really anxious, but also really resolved. I knew it was the right decision. I had identified the date I would announce my resignation and was simply counting down the days.

A new year is often a time of reflection. And as I thought about this particular post, I asked myself: looking back, three years later, what did I do wrong? What would I have done differently?
